Scott J. Frankel has successfully represented individuals charged with serious criminal cases at trial, on appeal, in post-conviction proceedings and in clemency proceedings.  He has appeared in every Illinois court, including the court of appeals and the Illinois Supreme Court.  He also represents individuals charged in Federal court at trial, in post-trial matters and on appeal. 

Mr. Frankel has successfully represented clients charged with serious violent crimes as well as white collar offenses. 

Mr. Frankel is a member of the Federal Defender Panel and the Capital Litigation Trial Bar, and is certified by the Illinois Supreme Court as lead counsel in death-penalty cases.
